Measuring Success

The Boston Opportunity Agenda sets a national standard for collaboration based on a shared set of specific goals. The Agenda is tracking data over time through the award-winning Boston Indicators Project, a joint program of the Boston Foundation, the City of Boston, and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, that draws from the wealth of information and research generated by the region’s public agencies, civic institutions, think thanks and community-based organizations and tracks the data across 10 areas of community life, including Education.

The Project also published the first “Report Card” on Boston’s Education Pipeline in 2008. The Project will report to the public annually through a “scorecard” on progress that we are making toward our goals.
